Happy 4th of July

Hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July. We had a nice day together. Brianna really enjoyed watching the city fireworks display from our backyard. She loves fireworks. "Uncle" Steve came over and was holding her on his shoulders so she could see better and they were talking about the fireworks when Bri suddenly says, "Daddy, My uncle Steve is bigger than you." He is a little bit taller but I guess he seemed bigger since she was up on his shoulders. She is something else.

Kierra discovered how to get her toes into her mouth and now she chews on them quite frequently. I guess they taste good or are just handy, I am not sure which. On Wednesday I sat Kierra up, propped by her hands, and she was able to stay that way for about a minute or two before taking a nose dive. She was not impressed with the nose dive or landing on her tummy. She still does not like tummy time.

Just a few misc pics of the girls. The first two were taken on Friday morning when I was trying to leave for campmeeting. Then yesterday Brianna put on one of Kierra's headband things and it pushed her hair up all crazy and it was too funny not to take a picture of so here it is. The last is of Kierra again. She used to be froglegged (probably from being breech) but here almost 6 months later she still keeps her legs like that a lot. Oh well maybe someday she will outgrow that. Just trying to catch up and share some of the pics taken over the last week.

We were at Palmdale Camp this weekend and Brianna loved having other children to play with. Brianna and Natalie (Cherita's daughter) played together at camp before and probably did not remember each other but hit it right off and were friends again this year. It was all about Natalie according to Bri. In fact one night Brianna came up to me with a full glass of soda and I said where did you get that and who gave it to you? Bri says, "My best friend gave it to me." I figured anyone that gave her a glass of soda was probably her best friend for the moment but come to find out is was her "best friend" Natalie that gave it to her. Oh well I guess a little won't hurt. They are like two peas in a pod. The other pictures are of the girls with Jason and Joanna's children. We haven't see them for many years but were so happy to get to spend a day and a half with them at camp. They are doing deputation in preparation for going back to the Ukraine as missionaries. And finally, Yes MomMom the girls did wear FRILLY dresses to camp. This is only one of the two very frilly dresses they wore but I did not get a picture of them in the other ones. Thanks for the dresses MomMom. Bri calls them her "dancing" dresses.
